Aussie Football RULES

Here are the rules in Aussie Football.

The game is played with two teams, both with not more than 18 people in a team, played in an oval field, similar to that of a cricket field. The field size measures up to 130m in width, and 185m in length.

There are 3 umpires, and the ball resembles that of a rugby ball. In order to 'dribble' the ball, a player needs to bounce it, at least once every 15 metres. It cannot be thrown forwards, and requires a two-handed pass backwards, failing which, the player commits an infringement. To move the ball forward, the player can run with the ball, or to kick the ball forward.

Bleargh.

Ben would love this game. It's been a whle since I last heard from him. Wonder how he's doing now.

Erm.. Momo this weekend. This Saturday to be exact. It'll be a blast. It always is. Better tham MoS. Definitely. When it closes down, I really don't know where to go. I wanna try Butter Factory, and Dbl O.. But I doubt it'll be even half as good as Momo. Perhaps St James has something GOOD to offer.

Other than that, it's already a WEDNESDAY, and half the week has sailed by comfortably. The people in class are beginning to get friendly and warm, and that's good, given that it's only the 3rd real day of school.

Some of you guys need to learn to smoke though. Free learning sessions are available. Just ask me. However, this requires extensive reading to increase your own general knowledge capacity.

I just want to add that W46M Rocks!

Yes, SLA fest coming up next week. Wondering which CCA, interest group, I mean, I would be joining. JIVE? MCG? Floorball?

This week too, haven't seen much of Su, and possibly the only time this week that I can spend with her is on Saturday evening. I'm gonna miss her badly.

Still Alive

First day of school was... culturally shocking.

Having been spoonfed for subjects all my educational life, from FPS all the way to NYJ, the first day at Republic was... different.

Independant learning all the way.. It's too early to tell if this is gonna be tough. To be fair, I'm gonna get used to it. Probably by the end of next week, it would be better.

Met up with Su yesterday.. The first time in a long, long time. A week, to be exact. I miss her badly.. I would have loved to spend just another extra minute (that lasts forever) with her alone, but I guess, a little sacrifice for the kids and the family would go a long long way.

I miss her touch. I miss her kiss. And that gentle kiss, the first in a long long time, reminds me again how much I love her.

Love is in the air.

And CIE 6, you guys rock my socks~ Orientation Tee tomorrow.

We Are the Champions

We EMERGED VICTORIOUS~!

Thanks to the enthusiasm of everyone from CIE, the Centre of Innovation and Enterprise we managed to clinch the overall championship trophy in the orientation at RP over the past two days.

Thanks to my 'high' partners, Viv, Rina and Owen, as well as the rest from CIE 6 who really had to put up with the bountiful energy of each other... HAHA!

All I wanna do now is to dance!

Frankly, the very much anticipated Jam and Hop was disappointing. D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-I-N-G.

I enjoyed the last bit at the student forum area more than the mush in the field. Thanks Eddie. THANKIEW~!

Here I Come

So after 4 years of putting my studies on hiatus, I'm back into the Educational System!

Orientation starts tomorrow.

It's also the begining of a new chapter in life!

Time passing by, and I don't have much time left. I got slightly jolted into reality when a very special someone reminded me to start saving for the future.

She's right.

A little at a time. Responsibilities growing. Adi is growing up.

Good Friday, but the Ministry let me down

Popped by MoS last night, the Ministry of Sound. It was free entrance anytime before midnight, and it was 1-for-1 jugs all night long.

I got there early. REALLY early. 9.45 i think, just to get a stamp on my forearm. The place was settling down a little bit, and people we already coming. I never was an early party-er.. I prefer crowds, and not exactly wide open spaces.

So I got back in again at about 11.00.. It was beginning to rock. As main arena wasn't playing, MY kinda song, I was at Smoove all night long.

Bear in mind, that I had free entry passes.

HipHop's my beat to the feet, but it wasn't rockin me last night. Yes, I was pimping again, but it just didn't have that Ratatatata that I'd get at Momo when the witching hour starts.

I thought the fun songs would come at three... They did.. but only two of them. Other times, the songs were crap. Real Crap. No offence Mr Fatboy DJ, but you ain't spinning hte junkie that'd make me miss that place.

I was so waiting to leave. 'One raggae beat,' I and Su agreed on, which was our swansong before retiring.. But Rastaman didn't come. No Nina Sky, no Dr Dre, no Sean Paul even. Shakira came on when we were leaving, but even if her hips don't lie, I've had enough.

Like Su said, nothing lost, nothing gained. It was a free party, and what could I expect?

But I regretted MoS. For all the hype of this 16-month olf club, it's as usual, just hype. I still can't fathom why people flock to it every weekend. There are no cheap drinks, and free entries are uncommon. The songs SUCK big time, and yet people are coming in, just to stand around for 2 whole goddamn motherfucking hours. WTF! Smoove was packed as always, and there are concentric circles of activity.

There's a cage in the room. So that's where all the hot dancing is SUPPOSED to take place. I've never been in it, and I don't think I would. No Dancing here. Just bobbers. They bob.

Then there's the first layer of people. These are the people who don't have a care in the world, and just dance to the beat. Here is where ALL the action is.

Then this is followed by a layer of statues, aka MEN standing around. That's all they do. STAND and blow smoke. I was so bothered by them. I was in the first layer, doing my sexy little thing with my ultra hot girlfriend, and there was this guy STANDING right behind me. I thought he had no space to dance, so I moved a bit to the left to the left. And what he did next shocked me. He did NOTHING. He just stood there, hoping my ass would rub his crotch. I am a guy with 3 HOT girls.

"My pockets are filled with phones and money. If my ass rubs your crotch, it's not my ass. It's either the wallets, or the phones. NOT my ass. And quit staring at my girls."

Nevermind him. Then there's the third, more irritating layer of people, I like to call the movers, shovers and shuttlers. They would treat the cramped room of SMOOVE like some park, where you can walk around where ever you like. They come in long rows of about twenty and move non-stop. One guy in front squeezing through the bodies, and he's holding on to his group of GUY friends. So they move back and forth, in search of space, not realising that if they stopped, they'd find the space they're looking for.

Lastly, there's the fourth layer of people. The most peaceful bunch. They'd already be in a corner. Or right up against the wall. They'd cuddle up and make out, drink and be merry, or just grind each other non-stop. I've got no comments on them.

That's Smoove for you. Nothing smoove in there. Not a place for babe watching either. The guy : girl ratio if probably 10 to 1. At one point of the night, I had 4 women, while MANY others had none.

MoS.. A great place to start clubbing, but it won't make you love it. They should reconsider catering to the local crowd more, instead of sticking to British tunes. The locals are the spinners, and the British, they prefer sticking around in 54, where you don't need to dance to heat things up.

I miss my MoMo.

And I love my Su. We did the boogie wonderland last night (or rather this morning), and I loved it.

Everyday, Another Adventure

Its a WEDNESDAY!

Thursday tomorrow, and it's free entry all weekend at MoS. It ain't gonan be SMOOVE, but it HedKandi. Who's Hed Kandi?

Sounds bubblegummy.. But who is she? She electrifies the local clubbing scene, and is a regular platter at MoS.. But who is she?

Well, queues are gonna snake again, and the last time it was free entry on at School's Out, the queue bloody snaked to Liang Court. And with that queue, you're definitely better off elsewhere.

At least you wont be spending precious hours in a queue that's not moving.

Do I hear MoMo? *chuckles*

Dbl O sounds good too.. Cheap drinks.. But age is a limit. And I hope the guys are above 21.

Went shopping over hte weekend. Impulsive immediate purchasing. NOt good for health. Now I'm dragging myself in the gravel.

Well, things are getting better now. Su's happy, and having her attachment, and I'm starting school soon. Orientation next week, and school the week after.

Randomy thoughts...

I need a job. Contract job at Site* ending soon, and I'm not renwing cos of school. I need a part-time job that can earn me at least 500 bucks while not spending anything more than 8 hours on it a week. I'm looking to giving tuition.

Fingers freezing off as I happily type away at CBTL at Century Square.

Starting work at two today.. So I'm happily using the time spending it all alone. Gonna shop for a little stationary later.

2.4kg in a Navajo is definitely not light. But it's okay. I got a good bag. And it's definitely a worthy investment. The last time I got a Deuter, it lasted me about 4 years before it's in a condemned state. Even then, I'm still using it.

Bah..

I love you Su. Thanks for making the effort. It's never been better. I'm begining to feel your presence even more already.
