Su shared with me something really interesting tonight... Been trying to put it up here, but I just can't seem to get it to work..

Personally, I think it's a good representation of the Malay community but it's kinda Malaysian Malay-centric, and full of good things to say about the community. But listen carefully to the words, and it's full of subtle hints where we, MALAYS can improve on.
It's based on a popular Malay nursery rhyme, "Enjet-enjet semut" (some song about ants), and it calls to reminds Malays of their roots, and the values that they've grown up with.
So take a look.

The flu bug has hit, and many of my loved ones are currently down with the flu. And the latest casualty is Su.
Do hope that she's recovering well, and taking her medication with lots of fluids. It's been a while since I last went under the weather, but the recent bout of tummy flu and severe diarrhoea some weeks ago really took out much of the strength from within me.
I hate getting sick.
That aside. Valentine is in 4 days, and tomorrow is the beginning of my 6-day off from work. This has to be the best time to take leave to celebrate V-Day.. Double celebration, but I'm up for full-shifts over the weekend, and presumably on Monday and Tuesday as well.
Oh well.. It's just a little price to pay for another 3 days of more leave. ANGBAO better come. Money no come, I leave for good.
And yes.. I'm already starting to draft my resignation letter. I'm just waiting for the right time to submit it, and say goodbye to the world at S*TEL. The place where 'Customer is King' and employees get treated like little insignificant beings. But not before I'm sure that RP will take me in.
But work's all good. And I think the experience I've gained here, and previously at SLG has opened up more uppurtunities for me. At the moment, it's about just building up my resume. And of course picking up where I left off, after putting my life on hiatus for almost 4 years (due to NS).
That's that.

It's another 5 days to Valentines.
And it's about time I updated this humble corner of mine too.
Some workshop over the weekend with bright kids regarding 'Youth Leadership' and learning journals. Boring affair. If not for me being distacted by a chocolate high, I'd walk right out. Thanks to the Crescentians for reminding me what it's like to be a student again. I miss being a student. I wanna go back to school and do Additional Maths again!
That aside, I'm reminiscing KL. Found out something new that time, and I discovered something new last night. Su, why didn't you tell me about this miracle gel 2 years ago?
